Resumo: RESUMO A Audiência Pública é uma das formas de participação e de controle popular da Administração Pública no Estado Social e Democrático de Direito. Ela credita ao cidadão a troca de informações com o administrador e, seus principais traços são a oralidade e o debate efetivo sobre matéria relevante, comportando sua realização sempre que estiverem em discussão, direitos coletivos. O objetivo desse trabalho é apresentar um estudo exploratório no Município, com a finalidade de conhecer como está sendo concretizada a transparência com ênfase na participação popular, por meio das Audiências Públicas, na Administração Pública do Município de Platina. Para tanto, é necessário efetuar revisão de literatura por meio de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, baseadas em fontes que versem sobre o assunto, conversas com cidadãos para que se possa difundir o assunto, conhecer estratégias do Poder Executivo para a aplicabilidade das Audiências Públicas e sua real eficácia. Palavras-chaves: Audiência Pública – Transparência – Administração Pública ABSTRACT The public hearing is a form of participation and popular control in public administration and social democratic rights. It allows the citizens to exchange information with the administrator, and its main traits are effective oral communication and debate on matters relevant to the citizen and supports their collective rights when these subjects are being discussed. The aim of this work is to present an exploratory study in the city, with the purpose of knowing how transparency is being implemented with emphasis on popular participation, through the public hearings, public administration of the city of Platina. Therefore, it is necessary to perform a literature review through a bibliographic search, based on sources that deal with the subject, conversations with citizens so that they disseminate it, understand the strategies of executive power and its real efficacy.
